Quarto album dei Police, "Ghost in the machine" propone brani più ricamati rispetto ai precedenti lavori, con l'introduzione delle tastiere e del sassofono. Non è certo progressive, bensì una sorta di pop-reggae-punk evoluto rispetto ai pezzi chitarra-basso-batteria di 4 o 5 accordi dei primi album (senz'altro più spontanei e "freschi" - questo va detto).
Voto personale (scarso / insufficiente / sufficiente / buono / distinto / ottimo / eccellente): Distinto.

"Ghost in the machine" is the fourth album by the Police: it includes more refined songs than the previous works, and is the first Police record to feature extensive use of keyboards and saxophones. Surely not a progressive rock album, it can be defined as a mixture of pop, reggae and punk - a "step forward" from the simpler guitar-bass-drums pieces of the previous albums (which were however more spontaneous and "vivid").
My personal mark (very poor / poor / pass / good / fairly good / very good / excellent): Fairly good.
