BREAKFAST IN AMERICA (SUPERTRAMP) - 1979

Non è certo definibile come progressive rock. Anche se, soprattutto agli inizi, i Supertramp hanno attinto molto a gruppi quali Genesis, Traffic, ecc.

Ma è indubbiamente un disco formidabile. Un album che è impossibile non conoscere. Almeno per chi ha più di 40 anni. E poi, quel piano Fender, dal suono così tipicamente ... Supertramp!

Voto personale (scarso / insufficiente / sufficiente / buono / distinto / ottimo / eccellente): Ottimo.

It cannot be labelled "progressive rock". Even though Supertramp drew, when making their debut, inspiration from major prog bands such as Genesis, Traffic, etc.

In any case, "Breakfast in America" is an excellent album, which hardly anybody can ignore - or, at least, people in their forties, and older ... . That Fender electric piano sound, so typically Supertrampy ...

My personal mark (very poor / poor / pass / good / fairly good / very good / excellent): Very good.
