Rieccomi, dopo due giorni di "riposo", con un altro album dei Supertramp: "Crisis? What crisis?", che viene ad aggiungersi al celeberrimo "Breakfast in America" postato lo scorso venerdì.
Gli ingredienti dell'album odierno sono in pratica gli stessi di "Breakfast in America", anzi, a mio parere la qualità è superiore, sebbene le posizioni raggiune in classifica e le vendite siano state del tutto diverse.
Dieci ottimi brani sui quali spiccano, secondo me, "A soapbox opera", "Lady", "Just a normal day" e "The meaning".
Voto personale (scarso / insufficiente / sufficiente / buono / distinto / ottimo / eccellente): Distinto.
Here I am again, after a two days' rest, posting another album by Supertramp ("Crisis? What crisis?") which adds to world-famous "Breakfast in America" I posted last Friday.
"Crisis? What crisis?" has just about the same ingredients as "Breakfast in America" - or rather, I should say, the former features higher quality than the latter, despite the chart rankings and sales volumes of the two albums were completely different.
In any case, a "collection" of ten beautiful songs, my favourite ones being "A soapbox opera", "Lady", "Just a normal day" and "The meaning".
My personal mark (very poor / poor / pass / good / fairly good / very good / excellent): Fairly good.
