FOTO D'EPOCA: LE ORME INSIEME AI GENESIS (1973)

Ma guardate che foto "storica": Le Orme (celebre trio veneziano portabandiera del progressive nostrano anni Settanta) insieme ai Genesis (con tanto di Peter Gabriel), in quella che pare la camera di uno studio di registrazione (o qualcosa del genere).

Essendo un fan de Le Orme, sapevo delle loro frequentazioni con Emerson, Lake and Palmer (anche per motivi contrattuali-discografici). Ma non mi risultava una loro frequentazione, seppur occasionale, con i Genesis.

La foto in oggetto risale, a quanto pare, al 1973, anno in cui Le Orme si recarono in Inghilterra per incidere la versione inglese di "Felona e Sorona".

Just have a look at the "vintage" photo above: Le Orme (a very famous trio from Venice - one of the leading Italian progressive rock bands in the Seventies) sitting next to Genesis (with Peter Gabriel still in the ranks) in what could be the room of a recording studio (or something like that).

I have always been a Le Orme "maniac", and I know they were acquainted with Emerson, Lake and Palmer (also due to contractual and music recording reasons). Yet, I didn't know they were also in "friendly" terms with Genesis.

The photo above is likely to date back to 1973, when Le Orme went to England the record the English version of "Felona e Sorona".
