Terzo e ultimo episodio della trilogia omonima, “Environments 3” è un altro capolavoro di musica ambient, prodotto dai The Future Sound of London, duo formato da Garry Cobain e Brian Dougans.
L’album riprende in pratica le sonorità dei due precedenti, accentuando tuttavia atmosfere più ‘oscure’ e tetre. I suoni leggermente diversi rispetto ai primi due album della serie non inficiano, ad ogni modo, il mio giudizio personale sulla trilogia.
In particolare, voto personale: 9 / 10.
The third and last release of the name-sake trilogy, “Environments 3” is another great ambient music album produced by British duo Garry Cobain and Brian Dougans.
While this album virtually features quite the same sound texture as the previous two albums, it is characterized by a more sombre and darker feel. The background sound differs somewhat from the two preceding releases (“Enviroments 1” and “Enviroments 2”, both of which I have already posted); yet, my opinion about this ambient music trilogy is unchanged.
So, my personal mark: 9 out of 10.
