INSIDE AND OUT (GENESIS) - 1976-77 (???)

Uno dei miei primissimi post era dedicato a un brano dei Genesis intitolato “Inside and out”, mai apparso su nessun album originale.

Considerando che si tratta di un pezzo molto bello (sebbene risalente al periodo successivo alla dipartita - ahimé - di Peter Gabriel), ho deciso di postarlo di nuovo. Si tratta, a quanto pare, di uno degli “scarti” di “Wind and wuthering”, anche se le sonorità mi fanno pensare più a “Trick of the tail”. Ma questa è solo una mia sensazione.

I posted “Inside and out” (a song by Genesis, which has never appeared on any original album) on one of my very early posts.

Considering that it is a lovely piece of music (though dating back to a time after Peter Gabriel had left the band - alas!), I am posting it again today. “Inside and out” appears to be one of the tracks “eliminated” from the definitive “Wind and wuthering” project, though its tune and sound “mood” make me rather associate it with “A trick of the tail”. But this is only a feeling of mine.
