Con questo post completo la serie dei quattro CD dal vivo dei King Crimson, intitolata “The great deceiver” (vedere precedenti post dell’8 luglio, 3 settembre e 4 settembre).
Qualcuno potrebbe obiettare la “ripetitività” di questi album: in parte è vero, in quanto si tratta di brani tratti, ancora una volta, da “Larks’ tongues in aspic” e “Starless and bible black”. Tuttavia sono i pezzi improvvisati (inediti) a rappresentare l’oggetto di maggiore interesse per i patiti di Robert Fripp e compagnia bella.

Voto personale (scarso / insufficiente / sufficiente / buono / distinto / ottimo / eccellente): Distinto.

This post completes the set of four live CDs by King Crimson, entitled “The great deceiver” (see my previous posts on July 8th, September 3rd and September 4th).
One might object that these albums sound quite repetitious : this is true in part, as the songs are mainly live renderings of tracks originally released in "Larks' tongues in aspic" and "Starless and bible black".

However, the improvised tracks will be surely appreciated, especially by the King Crimson’s fans.

My personal mark (very poor / poor / pass / good / fairly good / very good / excellent): Fairly good.
