ROMA - Le italiane sono le donne europee che fanno più spesso l'amore. A stabilire l'invidiabile primato è uno studio recentemente reso noto a Berlino dalla Società Europea di Contraccezione, in occasione del lancio di una nuova pillola anticoncezionale a basso dosaggio di estrogeni presso la sede della Bayer Schering Pharma a Berlino.
Secondo l'indagine, condotta su 12.000 donne europee fra i 15 e i 49 anni, il 59% delle italiane ha più di un rapporto sessuale a settimana: la media più alta del Vecchio Continente. Seguono le ceche (57%), le russe (56%), le francesi (55%) e le spagnole (54%). Ultime le donne austriache, di cui solo il 38% ha dichiarato di fare l'amore una o più di una volta a settimana.
Le italiane sono all'ultimo posto, invece, nell'uso di contraccettivi: solo il 29% usa la pillola e moltissime preferiscono i metodi "naturali" come il coito interrotto o il preservativo. In base agli ultimi dati del 2006 sono 2,2 milioni le italiane tra 15 e 49 anni che usano contraccettivi ormonali: in testa le sarde, 28,6%, seguite da valdostane (22,8%), liguri (19,9%) ed emiliane (19,4%). In coda le campane (7,6%) e le donne lucane 7,3%.
ROME - Italian women have more sexual intercourses than the European likes of theirs, according to a report recently issued by the European Society of Contraception following the launch of a new low-estrogen contraceptive pill by Bayer Schering Pharma in Berlin.
In fact, a survey carried out on 12,000 European women aged between 15 and 49 anni has shown that 59% Italian women have more than one sexual intercourse a week – the highest average value in Europe. Next come Czech women (57%), Russian women (56%), French women (55%) and Spanish women (54%). Austrian women stand at the tail end: only 38% of them declared they had sex once or more than once a week.
Conversely, Italian women rank at the bottom of the European list as regards taking contraceptives: only 29% Italian women take the contraceptive pill and a lot of them prefer to make use of such methods as coitus interruptus and condoms. According to the 2006 statistics, 2,2 million Italian women aged between 15 and 49 take hormone-based contraceptives: as regards the region-based distribution of this contraceptive method in Italy, Sardinia ranks first (28.6%), followed by Valle d’Aosta (22.8%), Liguria (19.9%) and Emilia-Romagna (19.4%). Campania (7.6%) and Basilicata (7.3%) stand at the tail end of this list.
