RE-UPLOAD DI UN ALBUM POSTATO TEMPO FA, IL CUI LINK È RISULTATO "CIMITO": “CONTAMINAZIONE” (IL ROVESCIO DELLA MEDAGLIA).
La band “Il Rovescio della Medaglia” nacque a Roma verso la fine del 1970, quando tre musicisti dei “Lombrichi” assunsero nell’organico il cantante Pino Ballarini. Dopo aver partecipato con successo al Festival Pop di Viareggio, la band (nota anche com RDM) divenne una delle più famose nei circuiti live nell’Italia dei primi anni Settanta.
Dopo aver pubblicato due lavori, caratterizzati da influssi hard-rock e progressive, il Rovescio della Medaglia produsse il loro terzo album “capolavoro”: “Contaminazione”, con il supporto di Luis Enriquez Bacalov, il compositore argentino che aveva in precedenza collaborato con i New Trolls e gli Osanna.
“Contaminazione” contiene musiche tratte dal “Clavicembalo ben temperato” di Johann Sebastian Bach, le quali si fondono impercettibilmente con la musica propria della band. Il disco fu anche pubblicato in una versione in inglese, “Contamination”.
Un vero capolavoro per tutti gli amanti del genere progressivo - un album da ascoltare con attenzione, più volte, per poter essere apprezzato a dovere.
