Facendo seguito al post del 31 gennaio, ecco altre immagini di Lucento, il quartiere di Torino dove sono nato e dove vivo da sempre.

Dall'alto verso il basso:

3) Il mercato rionale all'aperto;

4) Vivaio Bonafus;

5) Giardini Cavallotti;

6) Struttura per l'accoglienza dei disabili;

7) La zona nuova a ridosso della Dora Riparia;

8) Nuovo edificio residenziale;

9) La squadra dei Giovanissimi del Lucento Calcio.

Come potete notare, è un quartiere ricco di verde - uno dei motivi per i quali si vive bene.

Following my post dated January 31st 2008, here are some more photos of Lucento, the Torinese suburb where I was born and where I have been living since then.

Top to bottom:

1) Church of St. Bernardo and Brigida;

2) Offices of the register of births, marriages and deaths;

3) The open-air marketplace;

4) Entrance gate of the "Bonafus" plant nursery;

5) "Cavallotti" public gardens;

6) Disabled persons care centre;

7) The new housing development near the Dora Riparia river;

8) A recently built block of apartments,

9) The Lucento Soccer Club junior team.

As you can see, Lucento is a suburb rich in green areas - that's one of the reasons why we live confortably here!
