A YOUNG PERSON'S GUIDE TO KING CRIMSON (1976) - RE-POST

Ci sarà mai qualche ‘giovane’ (intendo meno di 25 anni) disposto ad ascoltare i King Crimson? Spero proprio di sì e gli consiglio vivamente questa ‘guida’ / raccolta datata 1976. E proprio in quanto raccolta di metà anni Settanta, non comprende i pezzi migliori dei King 2a e 3a fase.
Non solo: se avessi fatto io la compilation, ci avrei inserito brani diversi. Ad ogni modo, questo re-post (avevo già proposto l’album cinque anni e mezzo fa), merita davvero un ascolto se si ha poca o nessuna dimestichezza con Robert Fripp & Co., ovvero i King Crimson.

Voto personale: 9/ 10.


I wonder whether young people exist (I mean, less than 25 years old) who are willing to listen to King Crimson. I really hope so and I strongly recommend that they should listen to this ‘guide’ / compilation released in 1976. Of course, the year of its release means that none of the King Crimson best pieces release in the next decades have not been included.
Also, I would have included different pieces if I had made such a compilation. Anyway, you ought to listen to this re-post (I had already posted this album five and a half years ago), especially if you are a little familiar (or no familiar at all) with Robert Fripp and his band, i.e. the King Crimson.
