Di David Sylvian (artista che adoro) ho già postato alcuni lavori. Ma questo "Plight and premonition", registrato in collaborazione con Holger Czukay (membro della formazione tedesca dei Can - roba ormai preistorica, fine anni Sessanta), è una vera 'mazzata' (in senso positivo o negativo, a seconda dei gusti: 'ambient music' vera e propria, ovvero due lunghe suite intitolate "Plight - The spiralling of winter ghosts" e "Premonition - Giant empty iron vessel", le quali ruotano ciascuna praticamente su un solo accordo ...).
A me piace molto e, soprattutto, mi 'tranquillizza'. Del perché Anonimo Veneziano si sia dato ultimamente a questo genere di musica, vi riferirò poi, se ne avrò voglia.
Voto personale: Distinto.
I have already posted a few works by David Sylvian. Yet, today's post "Plight and premonition", made in collaboration with Holger Czukay (a founding member of Can, the German rock band who started in the late 1960s) is a real mind-blow (meant in the positive or the negative, depending on your music taste: this album features real 'ambient music', i.e. two long suites entitled "Plight - The spiralling of winter ghosts" and "Premonition - Giant empty iron vessel", each of them actually 'built' on one single chord ...).
In any case, I like his album quite a lot and, above all, I feel relaxed when I listen to it. You might ask the reason why Anonimo Veneziano has lately been prone to listening to such a kind of music. Maybe I'll tell you about it later, if I feel like.
My personal mark: Fairly good.
