ODISSEA (MANGO) - 1986

Raramente ho postato album di artisti “pop” italiani, dove con il termine “pop” intendo quelli non direttamente legati al genere progressive. Ma questo “Odissea” era da una vita che volevo proporvelo.
E poi, “Odissea” non è niente male: del resto, Mango è uno dei pochi cantautori italiani che ho stimato - sottolineo “ho stimato”, perché con il passare del tempo è diventato piuttosto ripetitivo, per cui ho ascoltato i suoi dischi sempre più di rado.
Voto personale (insufficiente / sufficiente / buono / distinto / ottimo / eccellente): Distinto.

I have seldom posted albums by Italian “pop” artists - the latter being meant as those other than the ones making progressive music. Yet, I had been willing to post Mango’s “Odissea” for a long time.
“Odissea” is a fairly good album, all things considered. Among other things, Mango is one of the few Italian songwriters I really appreciated - I said “appreciated” since his music has become quite repetitious with the passing of time, so I have listened to his records more and more seldom.

My personal mark (poor / pass / good / fairly good / very good / excellent): Fairly good.
