“A new stereophonic sound spectacular” è il primo album pubblicato dal gruppo belga Hooverphonic - unico lavoro a vedere la presenza della vocalist Liesje Sadonius. Si tratta di un ottimo debutto per una band le cui sonorità stanno a metà fra il pop elettronico e il progressive moderno. Un esempio su tutti: “Innervoice”, il brano di chiusura che rappresenta, a mio parere, una vera perla.
Fra l’altro, molti brani degli Hooverphonic sono apparsi in colonne sonore di film e spot pubblicitari televisivi e radiofonici.

“A new stereophonic sound spectacular” is the first album by Belgian band Hooverphonic - the only album released with singer Liesje Sadonius in the ranks. Quite an excellent debut for this band, the sound of which can be labelled half-way between electronic pop and modern progressive. Listen, for example, to the closing track “Innervoice” (the one I like best - a real gem, in my opinion) and you will better appreciate what I mean.
