THE GREAT DECEIVER (LIVE) (DISC 1) - KING CRIMSON (1973-74)

L’8 luglio ho postato un album dal vivo dei King Crimson, contenente registrazioni effettuate nel 1973-74 e appartenente ad una “raccolta” intitolata “The great deceiver”. In particolare, si trattava del secondo disco di tale raccolta.

Eccomi oggi a postare il disco n° 1, dal sottotitolo “Things are not as they seem …”. I brani sono tratti in prevalenza da "Larks' tongues in aspic" e "Starless and bible black", tuttavia sono anche presenti alcune improvvisazioni. La formazione è quella a cinque tipica dei King Crimson "secondo periodo".

Discreta la qualità sonora della registrazione.

On July 8th I posted a live record by King Crimson – a set of recordings dating back to 1973-74 and making part of a “collection” entitled “The great deceiver”. That was disc No. 2 of this set.
Today I’m posting disc No. 1, with the sub-title “Things are not as they seem …”. Most of the tracks are live versions of the pieces contained in "Larks' tongues in aspic" and "Starless and bible black", though the album also features a few improvisations.

The live recording sound quality is quite good.

My personal mark (very poor / poor / pass / good / fairly good / very good / excellent): Fairly good.
